Feeding Scheme
In the heart of Cape Town, where poverty and unemployment persist as pressing challenges, the shadow of food insecurity looms large over countless households. Recognizing this dire need, Impact Makers Action Network (IMAN) responded with our Feeding Scheme.

To combat food insecurity effectively, IMAN embraced the Collective Impact Model—a collaborative approach that unites resources, expertise, and passion. We partnered with 26 community-based feeding kitchens, including Madressahs, Masjids, Orphanages, and more, creating a coordinated response.
Our Feeding Schemes extend beyond the provision of meals; they involve understanding the collective needs of the communities we serve. Working closely with these kitchens, we not only supply ingredients but also gain invaluable insights into the broader challenges faced by these communities, serving as a foundation for our other initiatives.

The IMAN Feeding Scheme serves as a practical lifeline for residents surrounding the 26 kitchens we support. By supplying ingredients twice a month, we ensure that these kitchens have the resources to provide at least one cooked meal per day to those in need, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups like children and seniors.

Symbolizing resilience and compassionate action, the IMAN Feeding Scheme embodies our commitment to addressing immediate needs while striving for long-term change within these communities. In the ongoing struggle against food insecurity, it stands as a beacon of practical change and empowerment for those who need it most.
