Our Collective Impact

project description

IMAN has made significant strides in supporting underserved communities through various impactful initiatives. IMAN has served 2.5 million plates of food, distributed over 4,000 Ramadan food parcels in 2023, and supports 69 feeding schemes across Cape Town. Additionally, IMAN conducts yearly Qurbani and runs a back-to-school program to further assist those in need.

In Lavender Hill, IMAN’s 100 Homes Project addresses educational disparities and empowers youth through the ‘IMAN 100 Homes Project Youth Academic Support Program,’ providing intensive tuition to students in grades 8-12.

Furthermore, IMAN responds to food insecurity with the ‘Monthly Grocery Hamper Distribution,’ providing essential support to families facing poverty. These impactful initiatives exemplify IMAN’s commitment to practical, sustainable community development, leveraging partnerships and resources to create lasting positive change.
